President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will announce the conditions for owning social housing, the models of the houses, the cities, the application features, and all details about payment and maturity.
The “100 Thousand Social Houses Every Year” project, which will enable low-income citizens to own a house, will be introduced today.
According to the information obtained by AA correspondent, the presentation of the project, which will be carried out under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with the coordination of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and the support of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, will be held today at 12:00 at the Presidential Complex Beştepe Congress and Culture Center.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will announce all the details about the conditions for owning social houses, models of houses, application features, payment and maturity, which will be built on the basis of earthquake-resistant, identity, neighborhood culture and horizontal architecture.
Following President Erdoğan’s announcement, a protocol will be signed between Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment and Urbanization, and Berat Albayrak, Minister of Treasury and Finance, and the first step of the 100 thousand social housing project will be taken every year.
Minimum wage and low-income citizens will be able to own the houses to be built through TOKİ with a long-term, cheaper cost than rent.
