239 million dollars worth of exports from the Eastern Black Sea

Saffet Kalyoncu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB), said in his written statement that the exports from Trabzon, Rize, Artvin and Gümüşhane in January and February increased by 4.63 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 228 million 423 thousand 422. reported that it increased from USD to 239 million 7 thousand 463 dollars.

Kalyoncu stated that exports from Trabzon reached 208 million 938 thousand 237 dollars in this period, an increase of 12.49 percent compared to last year.

Stating that in the said period, exports from Artvin increased by 66.94 percent to 9 million 505 thousand 464 dollars, Kalyoncu said that exports from Rize decreased by 27.61 percent to 16 million 552 thousand 998 dollars, and exports from Gümüşhane increased by 71 percent. He stated that it decreased by 60% to 4 million 10 thousand 764 dollars.

Kalyoncu made the following evaluation regarding the product ranking of exports from Trabzon, Rize, Artvin and Gümüşhane in the January-February period of 2020:

“Hazelnuts and their products ranked first with an increase of 7 percent and exports of 152 million 382 thousand 312 dollars, fresh fruit and vegetable products ranked second with an increase of 7 percent and exports of 31 million 30 thousand 3 dollars, and with an increase of 274 percent and exports of 19 million 94 thousand 754 dollars.” aquatic products took the third place.
