LASIAD organised a dinner celebration for the teachers of Katip Kasım Primary School, of which it is the patron, at Arya Lounge on Tuesday evening, 26 November. LASIAD Chairman of the Board of Directors Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmet Turan, Board Member Erdem Soylu Karabağlı, Treasurer İrfan Akbaş, Secretary General Şerafettin Yüzüak and Katip Kasım Primary School administrators and teachers attended the night, speeches were made on the meaning and importance of the day.
Speaking at the night, Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Chairman of the Board of Directors of LASIAD, said: “When we chose Katip Kasım Primary School, we knew very well the reasons and reasons for choosing this school. In the first year we took over the school, we improved the physical conditions, we met with the Ministry of National Education in the field of education and arranged many of the teachers. Everything was complete, but the spirit was missing, the children did not want to come to school on Monday, and the reason for this was that they were working to earn money at the weekend. For about a year, we provided financial assistance to families to send their children to school without any problems. At the point we have reached, we see that we can achieve many things, but the lion’s share of this success is our teachers, I congratulate you all, happy teachers’ day. At the end of the programme, gifts were presented to the teachers and School Principal Mehmet Öcel presented a plaque to LASIAD Chairman Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca for his contributions.
