The distribution of 85 percent of the 331 million 755 thousand lira transfer allowance to be allocated to development agencies this year from the budget of the Ministry of Industry and Technology has been determined. The highest share of this portion of 281 million 991 thousand 750 liras will be allocated to the development agency covering Van, Muş, Bitlis and Hakkari.
The Presidential Decree on the Determination of Transfer Allowances to be Provided to Development Agencies in 2020 entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, this year’s transfer allowance of the development agencies, which was decided to be allocated from the budget of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was 331 million 755 thousand liras. The distribution of 281 million 991 thousand 750 lira, which corresponds to 85 percent of this allowance, among agencies was determined based on the Socioeconomic Development Index and population values.
In this context, the highest allowance was given to the development agency covering Van, Muş, Bitlis and Hakkari with 14 million 776 thousand 406 lira.
49 million 763 thousand 250 liras, corresponding to 15 percent of the appropriation, will be transferred by the Ministry within the year according to the performance of the agencies last year.
