Schools in Van and Karabük, Ordu, Bitlis, Artvin, Düzce, Bolu, Siirt, Sivas, Bartın, Samsun, Gümüşhane, Amasya, Aksaray, Nevşehir, Niğde, Erzincan, Tokat, Kars and Yozgat were suspended on Monday, February 10.
Education was also suspended in Şırnak center and Uludere and Beytüşşebab districts, Hakkari center, Yüksekova and Şemdinli districts.
Schools in Giresun center and Bulancak, Çanakçı, Dereli, Doğankent, Espiye, Eynesil, Güce, Keşap, Piraziz, Şebinkarahisar, Tirebolu and Yağlıdere districts were also suspended.
Education was suspended in Kayseri’s central Melikgazi, Kocasinan, Talas and Hacılar districts, as well as Incesu, Yahyalı, Develi, Sarız, Pınarbaşı, Sarıoğlan, Tomarza, Akkışla and Yeşilhisar districts. Schools were also suspended in Felahiye and Özvatan districts due to snowfall.
On the other hand, it was reported that education and training at Erciyes University was suspended for one day due to the extreme cold weather and icing expectation.
Two days off in Trabzon and Rize
Schools in Trabzon were suspended for 2 days due to adverse weather conditions.
Rize Governor Kemal Çeber also announced that education in the center and villages connected to the center was suspended for 2 days due to snowfall. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University in the city also suspended education for two days.

In some districts of some provinces across the country, schools were also suspended due to adverse weather conditions.
Schools were suspended in Batman’s Sason district and Siirt’s Eruh district due to snow.
Due to the snowfall in Kastamonu, schools in the city center and 17 districts were suspended today.
In a statement made by Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of National Education, it was reported that education was suspended in all schools in Azdavay, Daday, Çatalzeytin, Doğanyurt, İhsangazi, Pınarbaşı, Ağlı, Küre, Şenpazar, Hanönü, Araç, Devrekani and Seydiler districts, in the city center and Bozkurt, Taşköprü and Cide districts, and in Inebolu district, except for high schools and equivalent schools.
In Zonguldak, all schools in Devrek and Gökçebey districts, and transportation education in the central district and Kozlu were suspended for one day. All schools in Ereğli, Kilimli and Alaplı districts and all schools in Çaycuma were suspended.
In Erzurum, due to adverse weather conditions, education was suspended in 20 districts, 6 of which were for transportation education.
In a statement released by the governor’s office, it was announced that after the central districts of Palandöken, Yakutiye and Aziziye, all pre-school, primary, high school and private education and training institutions in Çat, Aşkale, Pasinler, Tekman, Horasan, Karayazı, Köprüköy, Narman and Şenkaya were suspended on Monday, February 10 due to adverse weather conditions, cold weather and icing.
In Bursa, schools in Büyükorhan district were also canceled for one day.
In Boyabat district of Sinop, education was suspended in schools with transportation.
Due to the snowfall and adverse weather conditions in Hamur and Diyadin districts of Ağrı, education was suspended in village schools and schools within the scope of transportation education.
It was reported that schools were suspended in 4 districts due to adverse weather conditions in Çankırı.
Due to snowfall and adverse weather conditions in Sakarya, education was suspended in transportation schools in 3 districts.
Wind holiday for education in Adıyaman
Due to adverse weather conditions in Adıyaman’s Çelikhan district, all schools in the villages and schools with transportation were canceled.
