Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival, which has now become a tradition, will take the stage for the 9th time between 8-10 August. The contributions of this important organization, which we have brought to life thanks to many years of effort and knowledge, to our region from the very first day, are undeniable. This organization, which pioneers Laleli’s brand awareness, concept and perception, pioneering identity in fashion and design, physical and visual quality, commercial history, future vision, customer and market diversity and many other developments that we cannot count, brings our region together with global buyers again. This event, which reveals the level Laleli has reached in ready-made clothing, fashion, tourism and logistics with an open-air festival every year, is one of the most valuable gifts that LASİAD has presented to Laleli. While we still undertake this project with the excitement and energy of the first day, we continue to move forward by building on it every year. I believe that this festival, which has become a tradition and brings together the development of Laleli with its visitors just like an exhibition, will serve our region for many years as an indispensable brand of Laleli.
No success or development can be achieved without effort, patience and effort. If there is any value gained without going through these processes, it is either not a success or a temporary deception that can be easily lost. Laleli, LASİAD and our festival, which was born from these two forces, has reached these days thanks to great trials, efforts and hard work. Our festival, which brings our region together as one and transforms Laleli into an organism that breathes at the same time, moves towards the same goal and works shoulder to shoulder, is held on August 8-10, in a way that suits our region. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our stakeholders who have contributed to this project, which will be an example of public-private sector-NGO cooperation at the highest level since the very first day. Just like building an indestructible wall, every stone of it bears the great efforts of every individual in our region. This festival, which we have built together, will once again bring very important gains, both concrete and intangible, to Laleli.
No matter how developed you are on a global scale, you must have important projects that will have a place in the minds of the audience you hope will remember you. If you don’t have any value to remember, then over time you will become ordinary and mediocre. This festival, which keeps Laleli alive and reminds us that we need to raise our bar every year, is very valuable in this respect. This organization, which reminds us to be constantly vigilant and never become complacent while keeping us more competitive and dynamic, will attract guests from countless countries of the world, especially the Eurasian region, to our region. While Laleli’s share in tourism and global trade will increase with this project, it will be possible for buyers coming to our region for the first time to get to know Laleli and open the door to new collaborations that will last for many years. At the core of this festival, we are sowing the seeds that we hope will flourish in the coming years, and we are bringing an unshakable vision to life together. In this regard, it would be wrong to consider our festival as just a meeting or gathering. This event is, on the one hand, a global fashion summit, and on the other hand, it is the result of an effort to create a world-wide trade bridge. It is a unique investment towards Laleli’s mission while contributing to our country’s future vision.
On this occasion, I hope that our festival will bring goodness to Laleli and our country, and as we celebrate August 30 Victory Day, I wish mercy to all our martyrs and a healthy life to our veterans.
