The story of the bamboo tree is intriguing. In the first year, the planted seed receives water, but there is no apparent change. The same happens in the second year. The third and fourth years follow the same pattern. However, with great patience, when the fifth year arrives, the bamboo tree suddenly starts to sprout and reaches a height of approximately 27 meters in a short period of about six weeks. This incredible and sudden growth is not exclusive to the fifth year alone. The efforts invested each year, starting from the first year, and the attention given annually are crucial for the development of the seed, just as important as the fifth year. Without the care and attention in the first or second years, the tree would not have reached its massive beauty in the fifth year. Like the bamboo tree, patience, perseverance, and determination are essential conditions for success in all aspects of life.
Fortunately, last month, we collectively contributed to another magnificent festival in every aspect. The opening, shows, fashion shows, and the commercial buying concept of this grand organization were unique, elite, and exceptional from start to finish. The festival, where the essence of Laleli was felt and experienced at every moment, filled our hearts with pride. Once again, the brand awareness of Laleli in national and international arenas was reinforced. We raised the bar in terms of our strength and capabilities. This festival, born out of unity and solidarity, demonstrated how impactful Laleli can be when united. With this third edition of the festival, Laleli showed how it can achieve great things when it decides to. This festival, which emerged from a small celebration idea three years ago, blossomed like the bamboo tree and reached dimensions that no one could have dreamed of. I believe that this event, for which we sowed the seeds, will become one of the most effective dynamics of the future’s great Turkey on the international stage. Besides contributing to Laleli, the outcomes of this festival, achieved through dedication and continuity, will undoubtedly make significant contributions to the promotion, development, and growth of our region and our country. As long as we continue to nourish and work diligently with patience, determination, and effort, I am confident that this great organization will be a harbinger of an internationally renowned event in the future.
The factors that nourished and strengthened the festival also included our commercial buying organization. Visitors from various countries have rejuvenated our hopes for the future. The interest of the guests in Laleli and the festival we organized was truly remarkable. This activity, which synergized the festival commercially, will undoubtedly make significant contributions to our region and our country in the coming period. By pursuing our vision for the future and constructing the foundations of our dream Laleli, we have crossed a significant threshold. As long as we maintain the stability and continuity of this great organization, I believe that we will have another internationally acclaimed event in the future.
Throughout history, time has always been on the side of those who believe and apply what they believe unconditionally and participatively. We have always acted with this belief and motto, believing in you wholeheartedly. Thankfully, time has not deceived us, and our path has always been open and clear in achieving what we believe in. Now we can look to our future with more hope and determination than ever before. We must know this: Laleli’s future, its path, and its fortune will always be bright and luminous. The light illuminating our path is the sparks of the unity and solidarity fire in your hearts. As long as we are united, this fire will not go out, and Laleli’s future horizon will continue to shine.

Without your support, these beauties would not have been experienced. Your presence and your constant support are our most important sources of strength. I sincerely believe that you truly deserve the State Distinguished Service Medal, as mentioned by the veteran writer Aykut Işıklar in his column in Bugün Newspaper. You are indeed unique individuals who are valuable for Laleli and our country. You can believe that I say this with sincerity and wholeheartedly.
