Speaking at the launch of the Bank’O Atlas credit card launched in cooperation with Odeabank, Atlasglobal Chairman Murat Ersoy said that they will start scheduled flights to more than 10 cities in Russia next year.
Speaking at the introduction meeting of Bank’O Atlas, Murat Ersoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atlasglobal, stated that they have established two airline companies abroad in Iraq and Ukraine, and that they will establish at least 8 more airline companies after 2017. Pointing out that 2017 will be a difficult year like 2016, Ersoy said that they will fly to 20 new international destinations, and that these routes will mainly originate from Antalya. Ersoy said that they flew to more than 50 destinations in 2016 and they will increase this number to 70 in 2017; “We will have a serious expansion to Russia in 2017. We will start scheduled flights to more than 10 cities.” “2016 was a difficult year not only for Turkish carriers, but also for all other foreign national airlines carrying passengers to Turkey,” said Murat Ersoy, adding that they will organize joint flights with many foreign national airlines. Ersoy said that they will announce their new collaborations starting next month and added that they aim to increase their passenger loyalty programs to more than 1 million active passengers by 2020 thanks to Bank’O Atlas.
ODEABANK’S TARGET IS 500 THOUSAND CARDS
Speaking at the meeting, Hüseyin Özkaya, General Manager of Odeabank, said that they set out to enter the big league and that they will continue their investments in this direction without slowing down. Stating that they are targeting 500 thousand card users, Özkaya said; “With our new product, we are both continuing our assertion in growth as Odeabank and we aim to bring vitality to the mileage cards market.”
