According to the statement made by Borsa Istanbul, Borsa Istanbul is simplifying the stock market indices expressed in 100 thousands. As of today, it is removing two zeros from 123 indices in terms of price and return, which are calculated in TL, including BIST 30 and BIST 100 indices.
By removing zeros from difficult index values, a simpler indicator expression will be adopted. With this change, index values expressed in 100 thousand points in Borsa Istanbul will now be expressed as index values of 1000 points. The value, price, power and labor behind the companies will not change.
