The barrel price of Brent oil, which rose to $39.75 yesterday, finished the day at $39.57. As of 09.36 today, a barrel of Brent oil was traded at $40.34, with an increase of 1.94 percent compared to the closing. While global markets are focusing on the meeting expected to be held next week by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and some non-OPEC producing countries, the decision to extend the cut in oil production is expected to come out of the meeting.
On the other hand, according to data released by the American Petroleum Institute (API), US commercial crude oil stocks, which decreased by approximately 500 thousand barrels last week, also contribute to the rise in oil prices.
Meanwhile, it was announced that the fifth and last oil-laden tanker sent by Iran to Venezuela entered Venezuelan territorial waters.
It is stated that technically, the range between 40.54 and 40.95 dollars for Brent oil can be viewed as resistance, and the range between 40.13 and 39.72 dollars can be viewed as a support zone.
