The barrel price of Brent oil, which rose to $28.10 on Friday, finished the day at $27.57. As of 09.32 today, the barrel of Brent oil was traded at $26.99, with a decrease of 2.10 percent compared to the closing. At the same time, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was sold at $17.55 per barrel.
Oil prices continue to decline due to the impact of the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic and the contraction in the Chinese economy.
In the USA, WTI crude oil prices fell to their lowest level since 1999.
Experts state that the oil market is under pressure due to the monthly oil reports of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and the International Energy Agency, which contain “pessimistic” forecasts.
It is stated that technically the range between 27.55 and 28.09 dollars can be viewed as resistance and the range between 26.69 and 26.47 dollars can be viewed as support zone for Brent oil.
