Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT). Accordingly, on January 31, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 2 billion 656 million dollars to 74 billion 856 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 77 billion 512 million dollars on January 24.
During the said period, gold reserves increased by 680 million dollars, from 26 billion 840 million dollars to 27 billion 520 million dollars. Thus, the total reserves of the Central Bank decreased by 1 billion 976 million dollars last week compared to the previous week, from 104 billion 352 million dollars to 102 billion 376 million dollars.
