Consumer confidence index increased by 0.1 percent in January compared to the previous month, reaching 58.82.
Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the consumer confidence index for January.
Seasonally adjusted consumer confidence index, calculated from the results of the consumer trend survey conducted in cooperation with TURKSTAT and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, increased by 0.1 percent in January compared to the previous month. The index value, which was 58.77 in December, increased to 58.82 in January.
The financial situation expectation index of the household increased by 2.3 percent in the said period and reached 79.5. General economic situation expectation increased by 1.1 percent on a monthly basis in January, reaching 77.4.
The number of unemployed expectation index decreased by 0.5 percent compared to last month and reached 56.8 in January. The probability of saving index decreased by 9.1 percent to 21.6.
