With the decision of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) published today in the Official Gazette, the deadline for applying before accounts that have not been processed for 10 years are transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has been extended by 3 months.
The application deadline for accounts or beneficiaries whose names are included in the lists published for accounts that have not been active or expired since 2009 has been postponed from June 15 to September 15.
At the end of this period, the amounts not sought by the account holders or their heirs can be transferred to SDIF until September 30.
