Our country’s economy has recently been going through a turbulent period, especially in terms of exchange rates and interest rates. We have entered a new period following the rapidly rising exchange rates and the subsequent interest rate increase. This new process integrates new rules and conditions into the economic system. It is very important for our businesses to act rationally at this point. Moves made by investors and companies who cannot read the process correctly, in a panic, opportunistically and with concerns about the future, may turn out to be harmful to them with a boomerang effect. The strategies to be determined and the decisions to be taken should be evaluated considering the future potential of our country, not based on the turbulent environment of the day. Our country’s geopolitical position, importance and the global level it has reached economically in the world conjuncture should never be forgotten. As a country that has maintained its stable growth for many years, completed its infrastructure investments to a large extent, implemented giant projects one by one, and turned its focus to exports and production, we should not forget that we still have a long way to go and many success stories to write. Turkey has a dynamic and robust economy that is many times stronger than the scales set by evaluation institutions based on political criteria. To understand this, it is sufficient to examine our country’s industrial infrastructure and SME portfolio. These organizations, which make gesture after gesture to Western countries that are stuck in the mire of crisis and have not been able to get out of this quagmire for years, suddenly act biased and show their true faces when it comes to Turkey. But reality is completely different from the notes they express in letters. Our country is progressing on a strong and grounded basis in every sense.
The only element that should not be forgotten when discussing this table and systematic balances is the correct management of the process. At a time when Turkey’s enemies are flying crisis scenarios around, the economy and its delicate balances must be handled carefully and meticulously. It is important for the future of our country to accurately check the sectoral pulse in the decisions to be taken and to ensure a certain consensus, even at a minimum level. An economic management that takes constructive criticism into consideration will certainly be able to revitalize our economy, which has solid foundations. We, as Laleli, are ready to do our part in this process, just like in the past. A Laleli that has completely focused on exports and foreign markets is one of the most important economic weapons of our country. We continue to work with all our strength in the name of exports and to bring foreign currency and employment to our country. We have no doubt that we will deliver our economic ship to the port safely. We are sure that we will achieve success by walking in unity and within the framework of common sense.
We always have full faith in the future and growth of our country. I believe that our country will emerge prosperous and stronger from this difficult and difficult period. Everything that doesn’t break you down essentially makes you stronger. We will not give up, we will not collapse. Crisis mongers should continue wringing their hands. But they should not forget that those who sit in comfortable cabins while the ship is taking in water are the ones who are deceived. Let’s not deceive ourselves unnecessarily! As long as our country maintains its unity and solidarity with its population of 80 million, no matter what comes our way, it will not be able to harm us. We are a special nation with perseverance, determination and effort ingrained in our genes. Such speculations do not destroy us, on the contrary, they make us ambitious, fuel and strengthen our faith. In this respect, Turkey will never face a pessimistic situation and picture as mentioned. It is up to us to read this temporary period correctly and turn it into an opportunity. Let’s believe this and focus on our future. In accordance with our belief, we wholeheartedly believe that just as there is good in every evil, something good will also come out of this evil.
Let’s not forget this: The future is ours, the future belongs to Turkey, the future is Turkey. The 21st century will be our century. To work tirelessly, without slowing down and without giving up, and to shed sweat is not only a necessity written for us, but also a fundamental debt to our future generations. We can only pay off this debt by working diligently. If we unite and move forward together, there is nothing we cannot achieve.
