Debt-free condition for KGF support has been extended to July 1

The exemption period for not having SSI debt in benefiting from treasury guarantee has been extended to July 1.

The period of the exception for not requiring “no overdue debt to the Social Security Institution” criterion in benefiting from the Treasury guarantee provided by credit guarantee institutions has been extended from 31 December 2020 to 1 July.

With the amendment made by the Presidential decision published in today’s issue of the Official Gazette, the regulation made in the temporary article 6 of the decision regarding the Treasury support provided to credit guarantee institutions will be valid as of January 1.

The temporary article in question regulates the date for not requiring the condition in paragraph (b) of Article 4, which determines the general conditions for the use of Treasury support in new guarantees to be given by credit guarantee institutions.

Subparagraph (b) of Article 4 of the decision regarding the treasury support provided to credit guarantee institutions states that the users who will benefit from the guarantee; It includes the condition that there is no overdue debt to the Social Security Institution, or if there is, this debt must be paid or restructured as a priority from the loan guaranteed by the Institution with the support of the Treasury, provided that the debt does not exceed 20% of the loan and the restructuring is intact.
