DEIK President Olpak said, “In such a confused environment, the messages given by our minister, who is the head of the economic management, were important for all of us.” he said.
Stating that the exchange rate has returned to the feverish levels of two years ago, Olpak said that thanks to the economic program put forward at that time, the targets were achieved and 2020 was well entered.
Olpak stated that the predictions of Minister Albayrak, who is the head of the economic management that has achieved the targets, for 2020 and beyond are important for them, and made the following statements:
“If he seemed pessimistic, we would be pessimistic too. He stated once again that they would stick to the program and act within the framework of the new Economic Program. We are not in any trouble with our foreign exchange reserves, there is no problem with our liabilities, and we will continue to support capital as it has been done so far.” “He stated that no restrictions were considered and that Turkey is one of the countries with the freest capital movement regime. As DEIK President, I left the meeting as a businessman who trusts ourselves, our country, our nation, our state and our administrators.”
Olpak stated that they came out of the meeting with clearer minds and their question marks were resolved, and said, “I received many messages from the participants after the meeting. What they all said is this: we had a meeting that we missed and desired. There are no question marks in our minds. We trust our country, our state and our nation. We will also overcome today’s problem.” “We will come like the previous ones and we will be the winners of the next period. These are what were expressed to me very clearly.” said.
