The Turkey Design Week, a significant platform aimed at introducing Turkish designers to the world and emphasizing the potential contribution to both the economy and civilization through achieving competitive superiority, was organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) from November 8 to 12, 2017, at the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Congress and Exhibition Center. The Design Week, which commenced with the Official Opening on the evening of November 8, included award ceremonies for the IMIB 2017 Industrial Design, IDDIB Let’s Design Together Design Competition, IMIB 4th Plastic Metal Packaging Design Competition, OAIB 10th National Furniture Design Competition, and Design Turkey 2017 Industrial Design Competitions.
