Turkish Statistical Institute announced the economic confidence index for January.
Accordingly, the index increased by 0.6 percent this month compared to last month, rising from 96.5 to 97.1. The increase in the economic confidence index resulted from the increases in consumer, service, retail trade and construction sector confidence indices.
Consumer confidence index increased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month to 58.8, service sector confidence index increased by 2.2 percent to 95.2, retail trade confidence index increased by 2.2 percent to 105, construction sector confidence index increased by 14.6 percent to 78. It took the value .9.
The real sector confidence index decreased by 2.1 percent on a monthly basis to 106.4.
