Elvan gave the following messages:
“Our 2020 budget deficit is below the targeted 239.2 billion lira
It amounted to 172.7 billion lira and we saved 66.5 billion lira.
We will never compromise on financial discipline, except in the areas needed to combat the epidemic.
Public finance policies compatible with anti-inflation policies will continue.
We are taking permanent measures to improve the 2021 budget. In this context, we target the 2021 budget deficit at 3.5%.
“The macroeconomic policies we intend to implement will ensure the formation of a balanced demand and sustainable growth.”
