İsmail Gülle, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), said that as the exporter family, they support the process of using Turkey instead of Made in Turkey, which the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan drew particular attention to in the domestic automobile promotion.
Gülle said, “As Turkey’s export ambassadors to the outside world, we will use ‘Turkey’ instead of ‘Turkey’ that we use in international arenas in every product we sell.”
“The world now knows us as Türkiye”
Underlining that they have introduced Turkey’s name to the world in many events, Gülle continued his words as follows:
“For this purpose, if making Turkey a brand and glorifying Turkey is a common struggle of all of us, we need to do this with a brand and logo. We will make all these logos as Turkey from now on, and we ask our exporters to use Turkey instead of Türkiye in all their labels showing that they are produced in Turkey in the following process. The world now knows and recognizes us as Türkiye. We need to walk on this. From now on, we will crown all our achievements in sports, culture, industry and trade under this name.
Until today, there was a circular containing the principles of use regarding this. Within this framework, it will be changed and this logo will be used in all events both at home and abroad, and we will need a process for this, which we will complete by the end of the year. We will complete these works with a logo and perception that shows the power of Türkiye today instead of the logo currently used.
We will have a single logo and a single slogan from now on, instead of the double logo that some of us have been using, which our President has already shown that we all want. We are crowning the value of Turkey with very good achievements. Now it will be our road map and goal to crown it with its name. As Turkey Promotion Group, we are promoting both Turkey and Turkey’s 27 sectors.”
