From industrial design to fashion, architecture to visual communication design, Design Week Turkey, which brings Turkey together with the design world, will draw attention with its fashion-oriented workshops and panels this year. ‘The New Fashion of World Stars: Turkish Design’, ‘The Shining Face of Design: Jewelry’ and Design Talks, famous designers will tell their success stories from local to national. Within the scope of the event, the ‘Color Harmony 101 Workshop’, which will take place to define colors and create perfect color combinations, is also waiting for its participants.
The countdown has begun for Design Week Turkey 2018, which will take place on November 16-18 at Haliç Congress Center with the main theme of ‘Design Ecosystem’. Design Week Turkey, which will bring together 22 panels and conferences, more than 50 speakers, 19 exhibitions and installations, 16 workshops, over 100 designers and thousands of viewers for 3 days, will be the center of attention this year, especially with fashion-oriented workshops and panels.
Organized for the third time this year by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, Design Week Turkey 2018 will be organized this year with workshops and panels such as ‘New Fashion of World Stars: Turkish Design’, ‘The Shining Face of Design: Jewelry’ and ‘Fashion and 3D Printing’ panel in the Design Talks section, famous designers will share their success stories from local to national with the audience.
The New Fashion of World Stars: Turkish Design
‘The New Fashion of World Stars: Turkish Design’ panel will be moderated by ELLE Turkey Editor-in-Chief Zeynep Üner. Designers who create brands with their Turkish identity, especially in the field of fashion, and attract the attention of world stars with their styles will tell their stories from local to global. Fashion Designers Dilara Fındıkoğlu, Raisa and Vanessa Sason will be the speakers of the panel that will examine what it takes to exist in the competitive fashion industry with Turkish identity and the basic factors that lead to success abroad.
