Organised by Istanbul Fuarcılık AŞ, a subsidiary of CNR Holding, in cooperation with Osmanbey Textile Business People Association (OTIAD) and with the support of KOSGEB, Turkey’s largest international Evening Dresses, Wedding Dresses, Wedding Suits and Fashion Fair CNR Fashionist hosted industry professionals at CNR Expo Istanbul Expo Center between 19-21 November.
In the fair, where the most beautiful examples of wedding dresses, evening dresses, suits and stylish clothing design were exhibited, 2020 seasons were introduced with colourful fashion shows.
In his speech at the opening of the fair, İsmail Gülle, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), said that they believe in the future of the textile industry. Mustafa Gültepe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters’ Association (İHKİB), emphasised that Turkey needs more production and exports.
Servet Samsama, Member of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), stated that Osmanbey has become a brand that brings out the brands of Turkish textile and added: “It has become a very important trade centre not only for Turkey but also for the countries in the region. Trading with 135 countries, Osmanbey opens our country to the world with an annual export of 1.5 billion dollars. We are happy to be here for Fashionist. The textile sector, which carries out more than 15 per cent of our exports, is one of Turkey’s main export powers.”
LASIAD Chairman of the Board of Directors Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Muhammed Sancaktar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmet Turan, Board Members Birol Fırat, Yakup Samsama and Secretary General Şerafettin Yüzüak attended the fair, which contributed to the trade in the domestic market of the sector as well as global trade.
