Fatih Civil Society Organizations came together at Kent Hotel on March 27, 2013.
The meeting was attended by Fatih District Governor Ahmet Ümit, LASİAD Board Members; Erdem Soylu Karabağlı, G. Naci Polat, Sabri Atken, LASİAD General Secretary Şerafettin Yüzüak, and many representatives of civil society organizations.
Fatih District Governor Ahmet Ümit, in his speech during the meeting, drew attention to the issues in the region and provided assessments. Giving brief information about the “Gönül Elçileri” (Ambassadors of the Heart) project, Ümit emphasized that, through the collaboration of civil society organizations and local governments, Fatih would reach even better positions.
At the end of the meeting, District Governor Ahmet Ümit presented certificates of appreciation to all participants for their contributions. LASİAD Board Member Erdem Soylu Karabağlı received the certificate of appreciation on behalf of LASİAD Board Chairman Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca.
