Mayor Mustafa Demir, along with Deputy Mayors, continues his efforts at full speed to make Fatih, the historical peninsula of Istanbul, even more beautiful.
Mayor Mustafa Demir and Deputy Mayors gathered for a breakfast meeting with the LASİAD (Laleli Industrialists and Businessmen Association) Board of Directors, including LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, LASİAD Vice President Muhammed Sancaktar, LASİAD Vice President İsmail Dark, LASİAD Board Members İrfan Akbaş and İbrahim M. Ramizoğlu, LASİAD General Secretary Şerafettin Yüzüak, and LASİAD Board Assistant Nada İsmail at the Fatih Municipality Çatladı Kapı Social Facilities.
After the breakfast, Mayor Mustafa Demir thanked his guests for accepting the invitation and then gave the floor to LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca.
Eyyüpkoca began by expressing gratitude to Mustafa Demir for participating in their meeting last week. He emphasized the benefits of frequent gatherings and exchanging ideas. Stressing the importance of Laleli as a significant commercial center, Eyyüpkoca also addressed the challenges faced by the Laleli merchants and requested support from Mayor Mustafa Demir to address these issues.
Mayor Mustafa Demir highlighted the historical and commercial significance of Laleli, stating that ongoing environmental and renovation efforts are underway in the region. He emphasized his close attention to the traffic and visual issues in the area, providing information to LASİAD executives about projects related to Laleli and its surroundings.
Mayor Demir also discussed their renovation efforts in the Nişanca area, stating, ‘Our renewal works for residential areas are ongoing. However, some things are challenging to do with public support, but if the citizens desire, we are ready to provide the necessary support.'”
