The winners of the 13th ITKIB Istanbul International Fabric Design Competition were announced. On the evening of November 20, at the Raffles Istanbul hotel, the competition, organized by the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association (ITKIB), with the creative direction of Hakan Akkaya. The competition, which set out to discover designers with the slogan ‘Turkey rises with exports and export designs,’ had a jury consisting of prominent figures such as Aslı Filinta, Berrin Zorlu, Beyza Uyanoğlu, Canan Hancıoğlu, Fatih Bilici, Fırat Neziroğlu, Gülben Ergen, Gözde Sarar, Ivana Sert, Nihat Odabaşı, Ruken Mızraklı, Siren Ertan, Sitare Kalyoncuoğlu, Süleyman Orakçıoğlu, Yalçın Ayaydın, Yıldırım Mayruk, Zekeriya Tanrıverdi. The first prize in the competition was awarded to İpek Aslanboy. Trade Deputy Minister Fatih Metin attended the event, where important figures in the industry gathered. LASİAD Board Chairman Gıyasettin Eyyüpkoca also attended the event.
