Heavy rains will continue

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the western parts of the country will be partly and partly cloudy, Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, northwestern Central Anatolia, Western Black Sea and Osmaniye, Hatay-Dörtyol, Amasya and Çorum will have local showers and thundershowers, while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy and clear.

Rainfall is expected to be locally strong in Marmara, Izmir, Manisa, Uşak, Kütahya, Western Black Sea, Aydın, coastal parts of Muğla, northern and western districts of Ankara, Çankırı and Eskişehir.

For this reason, it is necessary to be careful and cautious against adverse events such as floods, flooding, lightning, local hail, strong winds during precipitation, tornadoes, landslides in places with high slopes, and disruptions in transportation.

On the other hand, it is estimated that the air temperature will increase by 2-4 degrees in the interior and eastern parts, decrease by 1-3 degrees in the western regions, there will be no significant change in other places and it will be around seasonal norms.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the west and southwest, from the north on the Black Sea coasts, lightly, occasionally moderately strong, and strong during precipitation in places where precipitation occurs.
