According to the statement made by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, with the decrease in interest rates, there was an increase in real estate sales, especially housing sales.
According to the data of the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, while 6 thousand 658 housing loans were sold across the country between 1-27 June last year, this figure increased to 93 thousand 704 with the effect of the decrease in interest rates in the same period of this year.
Most houses were sold in Istanbul
Istanbul with 14 thousand 465, Ankara with 12 thousand 172, Izmir with 6 thousand 220, Bursa with 3 thousand 592 and Antalya with 3 thousand 77 were listed as the provinces with the highest number of credit housing sales.
The decrease in interest rates increased not only housing but also real estate sales. Between 1 and 27 June, a total of 284 thousand 487 sales were made, including fields, plots, workplaces, residences and other immovable properties. Last year, the total of these sales was recorded as 99 thousand 125.
962 million liras were contributed to the Treasury from credit sales and 1 billion 966 million liras from all real estate sales.
