The Second Textile Accessories Trend and Innovation Event, organized by the Apparel Sub-Industry Association (KYSD), kicked off on Tuesday, September 26th, at Wow Airport Convention Center. The opening ceremony commenced with a speech by KYSD President Murat Özpehlivan. Özpehlivan stated, “One of the biggest problems in our country is branding. The emergence of brands from the ready-to-wear sector paves the way for countries to become brands. In the journey towards becoming a brand, events like this are essential. Since we embarked on this journey, we have been organizing this event to ensure that the sub-industry takes its deserved place. This year, we believe that the second edition of our event will raise the bar even higher. Our partner for this year is Okan University. They have done excellent, exemplary work that will serve as a model,” he said.
