‘Individual Needs Support Loan’ from public banks

Ziraat Bank, Halkbank and VakıfBank have implemented a new loan application to financially support their customers in the individual segment whose monthly household income is 5 thousand liras and below.

According to the joint statement made by 3 public banks, in line with the “Economic Stability Shield” measures implemented with the aim of minimizing the possible damage to economic life, production and employment due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, which is experienced on a global scale and affects Turkey, Ziraat Bank , Halkbank and VakıfBank launched a new loan application to financially support their customers in the individual segment whose monthly household income is 5 thousand liras and below.

In the application called “Individual Needs Support Loan”, individual segment customers will be able to use a loan of up to 10 thousand lira, with a grace period of 6 months, a maturity of up to 36 months, and equal monthly installments, in order to finance their basic needs under favorable conditions.

Customers will also be offered the opportunity to benefit from this loan with Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) guarantee. “Individual Needs Support Loan” will be evaluated by banks with common criteria.

Applications will be accepted as of April 1

Customers will be able to apply to only one of Ziraat Bank, Halkbank or VakıfBank. Applications will be accepted starting April 1.

Within the scope of the health measures taken, loan applications must be made primarily through banks’ mobile applications or internet branches. After the application channels are opened by the banks and the requests are collected, the loan amounts will be transferred to the accounts of the customers who are deemed suitable for loans, and the customers will be able to withdraw the loan amount from ATMs.
