Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.35 percent on a monthly basis in January, and Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) increased by 1.84 percent. Annual inflation was 12.15 percent in consumer prices and 8.84 percent in domestic producer prices.
According to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, considering the 12-month averages as of January, consumer prices increased by 14.52 percent and domestic producer prices increased by 15.71 percent.
On a monthly basis, CPI increased by 1.35 percent and D-PPI increased by 1.84 percent.
CPI increased by 1.35 percent in January compared to December last year and by 12.15 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
PPI increased by 1.84 percent compared to December 2019 and 8.84 percent compared to January last year.
