BRSA has reduced the installment period for overseas expenses related to airlines, travel agencies and accommodation from six months to three months.
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency decided to reduce the installment periods for overseas expenses related to airlines, travel agencies and accommodation from six months to three months.
In the statement made by BRSA, it was said:
“In accordance with the Decision No. 8792 of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Board dated 10/01/2020 and the seventh paragraph of Article 26 of the Regulation on Bank Cards and Credit Cards, the installment periods for credit cards determined by the Board Decision No. 8198 dated 11/01/2019 are limited to airlines, “It has been decided that expenses abroad related to travel agencies and accommodation will be reduced from six months to three months.”
