The 35th International Istanbul Kids Fashion-Children’s Ready-to-Wear and Accessories Fair took place at the Istanbul Fair Center from July 17th to 20th, with the participation of 156 brands and 4,550 international and national professional visitors from 72 countries.
The fair, showcasing the Fall-Winter 2018 Baby and Children’s ready-to-wear collections, attracted the most visitors from cold countries such as Russia and Ukraine, as well as warm countries experiencing winter, including Algeria, Libya, and Iraq.
Hatice Dinçer, the Brand Manager of UBM ICC, commented on the fair, saying, “This year, Istanbul Kids Fashion took place with the participation of 4,550 professional visitors from 72 countries and 165 brands. We are a fair with export goals, and our strategy from the beginning was to ensure intense professional visitor participation from cold countries and Asian and African countries where the winter season is experienced, as our participating brands showcased their Fall-Winter 2018 collections.”
LASİAD Board Member Rıfat Opan’s company, ALVAN Kids, also participated in the fair.
