Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.13 percent and Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) increased by 0.69 percent on a monthly basis in June. Annual inflation was 12.62 percent in consumer prices and 6.17 percent in domestic producer prices.
According to Turkish Statistical Institute data, considering the 12-month averages as of June, consumer prices increased by 11.88 percent and domestic producer prices increased by 7.74 percent.
On a monthly basis, CPI increased by 1.13 percent and D-PPI increased by 0.69 percent. CPI increased by 5.75 percent in June compared to December last year and by 12.62 percent compared to the same month last year.
PPI increased by 6.89 percent compared to December 2019 and 6.17 percent compared to June last year.
Expectations
The average inflation expectations of economists participating in the AA Finance Inflation Expectations Survey in June was 0.7 percent.
