As you know, in the globalized world of the 21st century, countries prefer to collaborate rather than isolate themselves individually from the international structure. This situation is seen not as a choice but rather as a necessity. Countries recognize that moving together and advancing with a win-win mentality in areas where their mutual interests overlap yields positive results in every sense, and they make decisions accordingly. In this regard, the ongoing strategic cooperation between Turkey and Russia and its impact on the continued increase in mutual trade can be seen as an important example for neighboring countries. We, as Laleli, fundamentally feel and experience the positive effects of this trend in every sense.
On a macro level, ongoing collaborations and mutual support among countries naturally reflect on a micro level, which can be considered within the scope of businesses, associations, and various NGOs. In this context, the Dosso Dossi Fashion Show, organized within the month, stands out as a significant example. As LASİAD, actively participating and introducing both Laleli and our upcoming festival, this event has once again become a source of pride for us with its originality, principled approach, and successful results. I express my gratitude to those who organized this valuable event, especially for their close attention to us, and wish them continued success. The formation and proliferation of such original and high-impact ideas have always been our greatest wish. If we want to gain an advantage in competition against other global markets, we must support and be at the forefront of such initiatives, contributing to the development of these important ideas and initiatives. Recognizing the importance of Laleli in the formation and application of different and extraordinary projects, we realize the need for great dedication and effort in this field.
In this regard, the increase in University-Industry collaboration, which we desire in Turkey, is another vital issue we focus on. Evaluated in terms of the continuity of growth in our country, it is crucial to use differentiation techniques in products, markets, and technologies with an industry that will rise in the light of science. The collaboration of industry and science, seen from the perspective of developing countries like ours, should be considered an indispensable element. It should be remembered that the inability of these two structures to come together is one of the reasons for the difficulties and pains experienced in both areas. An industry detached from science and a science detached from industry will lose its validity in every sense, regardless of what they produce. In this process, the realistic and solution-oriented actions of the parties involved, I believe, will be a crucial cornerstone for our country to reach the 2023 vision of a $500 billion export target.
As LASİAD, we strive to maintain the balance between our amateur spirit, which we take care to preserve with the motto of serving our country, and the professionalism brought by years of experience. The essence of the excitement, productivity, and impact of the projects we carry out is probably the realism and the magic inherent in the hearts of Laleli enthusiasts. According to us, the secret of success lies in these concepts: sincerity, rational thinking, and effort.
