“As you know, we have left behind another Ramadan, the month of peace, mercy, and blessings. Quickly passing like every other, the City of Ramadan left behind melancholy, the yearning to reunite, and the beauty…
For us, amidst all these emotions, it was a joyous month that brought us together and allowed us to experience a magnificent evening together. We spent a delightful evening with the esteemed members of the state officials, representatives from public institutions, valuable representatives of non-governmental organizations, our esteemed members, and guests from various institutions and organizations. In this regard, I express my infinite gratitude to all our friends who participated in our iftar and shared this joy with us. Your presence has strengthened our power and reinforced our belief in realizing planned projects for the future.
Furthermore, taking the responsibility for two evenings of iftar during the iftar tent organized by Fatih Municipality in Eminönü and spending those evenings together at the iftar tent in Eminönü was a unique source of happiness for us. In this regard, I also thank Fatih Municipality for providing us the opportunity to experience this beauty and fulfill our social responsibility.
In addition to these, as you know, our breakfast meeting in Taşhan, which we organized with the valuable participation of Mayor Mustafa Demir, to discuss the problems of the Upper Laleli Region and find solutions to these problems, also took place within this month. I believe that this meeting, which we found very productive, once again showed us that there is much to be done for the future.
The cooperation between LASİAD and Fatih Municipality, which has shown solidarity that could be a model for Turkey in terms of working together, is crucial in this regard. Moreover, the information provided by Mr. Mustafa Demir during his speech at the meeting, stating that municipal and public buses will not be allowed to go up to Beyazıt Square, is almost like good news in reducing the traffic problem in our region. I hope that the project will be completed rapidly, and the solution that has been awaited for years will be realized. In the same meeting, the Lale Monument, which will be placed in front of Taşhan in the near future and is in the implementation phase, will contribute significantly to the image of Laleli and crown our successes from past to present. Also, our report containing our requests on various issues has been submitted as a file to municipal authorities, presenting what needs to be done for our region to become even more beautiful.
Before concluding my words, I would like to wish you a happy Ramadan Bayram and hope that it brings peace, tranquility, and prosperity to our region, our country, and the world.
Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca.”
