ASİAD determined the new management, audit, and discipline boards during the 7th Ordinary General Assembly held on May 30, 2013.
LASİAD Founding President Ayhan Karahan formed the board of directors with LASİAD members Fethi Köseliören and Yurdanur Çekiç at LASİAD’s 7th Ordinary General Assembly held at Crowne Plaza with the participation of LASİAD members. After the recitation of the national anthem and the screening of the LASİAD promotional film, the General Assembly began with the hosting of Defne Sarısoy, the former successful anchor of NTV.
“It is impossible not to be proud.”
After the film screening, LASİAD Founding President Ayhan Karahan emphasized the importance of LASİAD in his opening speech, saying, “When we examine the 2011-2013 activity period for Turkey and Laleli, it is impossible not to be proud. I thank the LASİAD Management and members who have done such important work for their country and region. We know that the most virtuous of people is the one who is beneficial to others.”
“We believe we will succeed.”
Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, who was re-elected as the President of the Board of Directors after the LASİAD General Assembly, thanked everyone who contributed materially and morally to LASİAD during the 2011-2013 activity period, stating, “We have achieved very successful results within the framework of the last 2 years. We, as LASİAD and Laleli tradesmen, accomplished this together. We know our job is challenging. However, we are sure that we will overcome it. Our belief in Laleli and LASİAD is limitless. That’s why we believe we will succeed.”
Former LASİAD President Orhan Altun thanked the LASİAD Management for their efforts and dedication.
The general assembly ended after presenting plaques to the outgoing members of the Board of Directors and taking a group photo.
