“The LASİAD Board met with Istanbul Deputy Governor Kazım Tekin on March 28, 2013, at Crowne Plaza.
LASİAD Board members, including President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Vice President Muhammed Sancaktar, Vice President Vedat Toy, and Board Members Ahmet Turan, Benan Çalabakul, Erdem Soylu Karabağlı, G. Naci Polat, İrfan Akbaş, Mehmet Özbayrak, Murat Özpehlivan, Münir Dinler, LASİAD Secretary-General Şerafettin Yüzüak, and LASİAD Board Assistant Nada İsmail attended the meeting.
During the meeting, issues related to taxi drivers in the region were discussed. Problems such as inappropriate attire of taxi drivers, their reluctance to pick up customers for short distances, preference for foreign customers, and non-compliance with the smoking ban inside taxis were addressed with Istanbul Deputy Governor Kazım Tekin.
Following the meeting at Crowne Plaza, LASİAD representatives and Istanbul Deputy Governor Kazım Tekin visited Laleli to inspect the ongoing road works conducted by LASİAD.”
