“On May 26th, Friday, LASIAD hosted the Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Akif Hamzaçebi, CHP Fatih District Chairman Soner Özimer, Fatih Municipality Council Member Kazım Akşahin, and former CHP Üsküdar District Chairman Doğan Tekel at Laleli Wyndham Hotel. In the meeting attended by the entire LASIAD Board of Directors, Hamzaçebi stated, ‘LASIAD is an association that holds a significant place in my professional life, with distinctive features and substantial contributions to the Turkish economy. Laleli is also the world’s largest open-air shopping center.’ LASIAD Board Chairman Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca added, ‘Laleli comes up in commercial relations as well, and it is a symbol. During our lowest periods, Laleli has made significant contributions to the economy.’ After the meeting, Eyyüpkoca presented a vase with a tulip motif to Akif Hamzaçebi.”
