“On September 30, 2013, LASİAD (Laleli Industrialists and Businessmen Association) organized a seminar on E-Book, E-Invoice, and Occupational Health and Safety sponsored by Fatih Auditing Financial Consultancy Services, Eurasia Independent Auditing and Sworn-in Financial Consultancy Inc., and Payroll Training Consultancy Trade Inc.
The program was attended by Istanbul Deputy Ahmet Baha Öğütken, LASİAD Board Chairman Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, LASİAD Board Vice Chairman Ercan Çelik, LASİAD Board Member Münir Dinler, LASİAD President’s Private Secretary Nada İsmail, and numerous company representatives.
The program, initiated under the direction of Fatma Mevhibe Özgün, a Sworn-in Financial Consultant at Fatih Auditing Inc., continued with opening speeches by LASİAD Board Chairman Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca and Istanbul Deputy Ahmet Baha Öğütken.
Following this, Eyyüp İnce, Deputy Manager of Collection and Procedure Group at Istanbul Tax Office, took the podium and first defined e-book and e-invoice, then explained the legal regulations in this context. Discussing the usage rates of e-invoice worldwide and in Turkey, İnce mentioned taxpayers covered by e-invoice and e-book regulations, addressing frequently asked questions on these topics. At the end of the Q&A session, Ahmet Baha Öğütken presented a LASİAD-logoed plate to Eyyüp İnce.
In the second part of the program, Bekir Geçer, Chief Inspector of the Social Security Institution and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, addressed many misconceptions about Occupational Health and Safety. He explained that workplaces are classified into three categories: very dangerous, dangerous, and slightly dangerous, discussing the factors to be considered in determining the hazard class. Geçer also spoke about the obligation to employ a safety specialist or occupational physician with Class A, B, or C certification based on the hazard class. He concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of providing training to all employees in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, creating a curriculum for this training, and ensuring its completeness. At the end of the speech, LASİAD Board Chairman Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca presented a LASİAD-logoed plate to Bekir Geçer.”
