“Istanbul Textile and Clothing Exporters’ Associations (ITKIB) organized a working meeting on the evening of March 9th, Thursday, focusing on ‘Employment of Child Labor and Syrian Workers.’ The dinner meeting hosted by ITKIB was attended by the Presidents of its sub-organizations, Istanbul Apparel Exporters’ Association (IHKIB) and Istanbul Leather and Leather Products Exporters’ Association (ITHIB), Hikmet Tanrıverdi and İsmail Gülle, along with the board members and representatives of all sectoral associations. Also in attendance were Saadettin Akyıl, the General Director of International Labor at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and Ömer Kayır, an advisor at the Prime Ministry, along with Mehmet Salih Canbal, the Head of the Quality Improvement Department at the Ministry of National Education’s Vocational and Technical Education General Directorate, and Sevil Şenses, the person in charge of those under Temporary Protection. LASIAD was represented by its President, Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, Vice Presidents Ercan Hardal, Murat Özpehlivan, and General Secretary Şerafettin Yüzüak.”
