On April 3, 2013, LASİAD visited Mayor Mustafa Demir of Fatih Municipality.
LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca, LASİAD Vice President Muhammed Sancaktar, LASİAD Vice President İsmail Dark, and LASİAD Secretary General Şerafettin Yüzüak participated in the visit.
Mayor Mustafa Demir stated during the visit, “There is a success that you have achieved in Laleli. Beautiful works have been done in Laleli by bringing local governments and tradesmen together. Laleli is experiencing the most beautiful period of the last 50 years.”
LASİAD President Giyasettin Eyyüpkoca discussed P&R studies related to the Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival. Drawing attention to issues such as signage pollution and traffic problems, Eyyüpkoca said, “Before the festival, it would be very good for the work on signage arrangements on Mesihpaşa Street to start. We have serious problems with traffic. We ask for your support in every aspect, but we especially expect your support in solving the traffic problem.”
Eyyüpkoca also conveyed the complaints of the shopkeepers regarding the conversion of the electric pole on Messihpaşa Street into a base station. Eyyüpkoca invited Mayor Mustafa Demir to the launch dinner of the II. Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival.
Mayor Mustafa Demir announced that the signage arrangements on Mesihpaşa Street would start before the festival, and regarding the requested 2 LED screens to be placed in Laleli streets, he mentioned that the location would be determined and the implementation would proceed.
After completing the visit to Mustafa Demir, LASİAD continued its visits and invited the Deputy Mayors of Fatih Municipality, Adnan Güler, Talip Temizer, İzzettin Öztosun, to the launch dinner of the II. Laleli Fashion Shopping Festival.
