The monthly delay interest applied to public creditors was reduced from 2 percent to 1.6 percent.
The Presidential Decree on the Redetermination of the Delay Fee Rate for Public Receivables was published in the Official Gazette.
In the decision, it was said, “In accordance with the said article, it has been decided that the delay interest rate in the first paragraph of Article 51 of the Law on Public Creditors’ Collection Procedure No. 6183 will be determined as 1.6 percent “to be applied separately for each month.”
