The President’s Decision on the approval of the MTP covering the 2021-2023 periods, prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Strategy and Budget Presidency, was published in the Official Gazette.
In this context, according to the program announced today by the Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak under the title “New Economic Program”, growth targets are expected to be 0.3 percent for this year, 5.8 percent in 2021 and 5 percent for 2022 and 2023. determined.
Inflation targets in the YEP were 10.5 percent for this year, 8 percent for next year, 6 percent for 2022 and 4.9 percent for 2023.
In the program, where the ratio of the budget deficit to gross domestic product is targeted as 4.9 percent this year, 4.3 percent in 2021, 3.9 percent in 2022 and 3.5 percent for 2023, the unemployment rate targets are 13 percent for the end of this year. It was determined as 8. This target was listed as 12.9 percent for next year, 11.8 percent for 2022 and 10.9 percent for 2023.
