Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak stated, “Our only condition is to protect employment” regarding the ‘Continue to Work Support’ received within the scope of the fight against coronavirus.
Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak announced on his official Twitter account that ‘Business Continuation Credit Support’ was launched by public banks and participation financial institutions in order to meet the working capital needs of all corporate and commercial companies, especially SMEs, which were adversely affected by the pandemic.
In his post, Minister Albayrak said, “Within the scope of the Economic Stability Shield, we are launching ‘Business Continuation Support’ for all our sectors and all our companies with our public banks and participation financial institutions. Our condition for this support, which is provided with Treasury-backed KGF guarantee, will be the protection of employment.
Requests will start to be accepted as of March 26, with the precondition that businesses, regardless of sector, will not reduce the number of employees.
