In his written statement, Minister Selçuk reminded that they regularly transfer resources every month under the name of “periodic share” to the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations in 81 provinces and districts so that they can carry out their social aid activities.
Providing information about the periodic share transfer in October, Selçuk noted that they transferred 186.8 million liras to the 1003 Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation.
Selçuk pointed out that in addition to the aid provided to citizens in need, they also provided aid to people who met “seasonal need” criteria due to the epidemic, and stated that with the transferred resources, they both strengthened the financial possibilities of the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations and responded to the needs of the citizens more quickly and effectively.
These funds, sent through foundations, are used to meet the needs of disadvantaged citizens and households.
