Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank shared on his Twitter account about the 300 factories opened in Gaziantep yesterday.

Expressing that they are proud of the entrepreneurs from Gaziantep, Varank said, “May the 300 production facilities that we have officially opened be beneficial to our country. The doors of Gaziantep OIZ are open to those who want to see the power of Turkish industry in action. The fuss made from a name written inadvertently cannot overshadow new investments.” made his assessment.

Varank also shared the statement of Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone, which responded to the allegations regarding the opening of 300 factories in Gaziantep, on his Twitter account.

In the statement, it was stated that among the 300 companies in the ceremony in question, there were companies making additional investments as well as companies making investments for the first time, and the following statements were made:

“Barem Ambalaj, which was stated to have been opened before in the media, has made an additional investment in the 5th Organized Industrial Zone, and the reason why it is written in the opening list is the new investment. Çiğtuğ company, which is also mentioned in the media, has no investment in the 5th Organized Industrial Zone. It was written inadvertently.”
