The Ministry of Commerce increased the number of installments for domestic expenditures on airlines, travel agencies and accommodation to 18 months.
The Ministry’s “Regulation on Amendments to the Regulation on the Principles and Rules to be Applied in Retail Trade” was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
With the regulation, the period for installment sales made by retail businesses to consumers has been rearranged.
Accordingly, the number of installments will be applied as 18 months for domestic expenses related to airlines, travel agencies and accommodation.
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) also increased the credit card installment limit for these expenses from 12 months to 18 months on June 9.
