Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources: The return of Oruç Reis to the port is routine, and research activities will continue.
The statement recorded that Oruç Reis has collected 3,525 kilometers of seismic data in the field so far. According to the working principle, the vessel returns to the port for planned maintenance, personnel changes, and preparations for the next mission once a month.
The monthly periodic return of the vessel to the port for supplies and maintenance is a routine activity. After the supply and maintenance procedures, the vessel will continue its seismic exploration and research activities.
The statement also mentioned that Turkey continues its uninterrupted search and drilling activities based on international law in the Mediterranean, and it was noted that Yavuz and Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa vessels continue their activities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
