In the bilateral meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and US President Donald Trump, it was decided to revise the project target prepared with the Boston Consulting Group in this direction as a result of increasing the trade volume target between Turkey and the US, which was previously set as 75 billion dollars, to 100 billion dollars.
According to the statement made by the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) and DEİK/Turkey-US Business Council (TAİK), the 2nd Steering Committee Meeting of the Turkey-US 75 Billion Dollar Trade Target Study, organized by TAİK and the American-Turkish Council (ATC) under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, was held in Istanbul.
Deputy Minister of Trade Rıza Tuna Turagay, Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD), Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Association of American Companies (ABFT), Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), International Investors Association (YASED), Steel Exporters Association (ÇİB), Istanbul Ready-to-Wear and Apparel Exporters Association (İHKİB) representatives attended the meeting.
